How do I get a position through a nanny agency?
The first step is the fill out a pre-screening application on our website. We will then contact you personally to ask you some more questions about your work experience and have you fill out additional forms. You are then put into rotation to be called about positions that we have available and begin to interview with our clients.
What background checks do I need to pass to obtain a position?
You must pass a:
- criminal check
- driving record check
- sex offender check
- work verification on three previous childcare experiences
- social security number check
- car insurance verification check
Is there a fee for the agency to help me obtain employment?
No. This is a free service for nannies.
How long does it take for a nanny to find a position?
Nannies are typically interviewing for a week, sometimes two, before they find a family that suits them. They usually will begin work shortly after they have accepted an offer from a family.
Are the positions local?
Yes. All of our positions are local to your area, usually within a 30 mile radius of your home.
Are the positions live in or out positions?
The positions are all live out positions. This means that you arrive at the beginning of the day and leave at the end of the day.
What are the requirements to be considered by Heaven’s Hands Nanny Agency?
You must be:
- 18 years of age
- Have your own transportation
- Have three years professional experience in a child care setting
- Clear criminal history
Does the nanny agency pay me or does the family?
You are an employee of the family, not the agency, so the family pays you directly, usually on a weekly basis.
